This is in contrast to V4 and earlier versions of the TKActions Panel, which used a selection-based workflow. Luminosity masks are seen up-front by users and are seen in real-time. There are now five modules instead of a gigantic mega panel, which makes organizing the components of the TKA V5 Panel much easier and offers a cleaner, streamlined workspace. If you’re familiar with layer masks, you know all about black and white areas on a mask. The darker an area in the image, the less an adjustment will apply, all the way to not applying at all in black areas.
